Sharing PAI's Voices - Engaging African Civil Society for a Better Future: An Interview with Friends of the Global Fund AfricaPAI began a partnership in 2007 with Friends of the Global Fund Africa, based in Lagos, Nigeria, on the Mobilizing for RH-HIV Integration Initiative. The Initiative, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, works to increase resources from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund) for the integration of HIV/AIDS and reproductive health services and supplies. Through this successful partnership, we have achieved over $100 million in new funding for such efforts and built significant capacity among African civil society organizations
Partnering with outstanding groups like Friends of the Global Fund Africa allows PAI to more effectively target technical assistance and resources directly to low-income countries. We’ve asked our colleagues at Friends to share with you more about their organization and their partnership with PAI.
