We hope that you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. As the holiday season continues, we ask you to consider giving hope to families in need. To people like Phyllis in Uganda, who need basic contraception, but can’t get access. Or Joseph, who lost his wife during pregnancy because the clinic didn’t have the basic supplies for safe delivery.
We know we can make a difference to these people’s lives. With your help, we will.
PAI is a trusted organization with a forty five year track record of results fighting for reproductive health rights, services, and resources that address some of the world’s most pressing concerns – from women’s health, to economic development, to security, to climate change.
PAI works to build on high-impact initiatives such as the President’s Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief, the Global Fund, or the Copenhagen climate negotiations to ensure that family planning is on the agenda and the needs of millions of women and their families in the developing world are met. Year after year, PAI has been able to achieve an outstanding return on your investment. PAI works with our partners to leverage your contributions into hundreds of millions of dollars in foreign assistance from the United States and other foreign governments for international family planning efforts.
In 2010 and beyond, PAI will continue to help achieving record levels of U.S. funding for family planning and reproductive health services around the world, and in making clear the critical role that reproductive health plays in meeting nearly all of the world’s development concerns including peace, security, human rights and climate change.
