Investing in Women Pays Off For Everyone

Happy International Women’s Day! On Saturday, March 8, people all over the world will celebrate the progress we’ve made in women’s empowerment, women’s rights, and gender equality. But the day isn’t just for women to celebrate, because equality for women means progress for everyone. When women can access family planning, they can stay in school, participate in the workforce, and live longer, healthier lives. In fact, women who have access to contraception typically earn 40 percent more than women without access — and that economic success is good for the whole country!

Share this video on Facebook and Twitter and commit to increasing access to family planning for women all over the world. And don’t miss our “Womenomics” infographic, which shows the economic benefits of increasing family planning.

PAI is always working toward a world where every woman can access family planning. Help us make this vision a reality by donating to PAI today.
