Clive leads PAI’s work on population and climate change issues. He has researched and published on population and climate change, including adaptation planning and financing, and has more than ten years of experience conducting and communicating policy research and analysis. Prior to PAI, Clive worked on environment and development policy in East Africa, including a long stint at the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research & Analysis (KIPPRA), a think tank supporting policy formulation and implementation in Kenya.  Clive holds a master’s in economics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, with a specialization in Environment and Natural Resource Economics from the Centre for Environmental Economics Policy Research and Analysis in Africa (CEEPA) based at the University of Pretoria, South Africa; and an undergraduate degree in economics and sociology from the University of Nairobi.
