Everyone has a role to play in improving access to reproductive health supplies.Making contraceptives available to every woman that wants them would prevent approximately 53 million unintended pregnancies, 150,000 pregnancy-related deaths and 640,000 newborn deaths. Currently, $290 million is spent on family planning in sub-Saharan Africa, while an estimated $2.4 billion is needed.
